Join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements of our dancers at Inspired Acrobatic Academy.

From dazzling performances on stages to amazing choreography that pushes the boundaries of artistic expression. Our studio is filled with stories of passion, perseverance, commitment and successes.

Our dance achievements encompasses a diverse range of accomplishments, reflecting the dedication, talent, and innovation of each dancer and our coach, whether it’s a solo, duet or group performance. Being recognized for exceptional skill, a great performance or stage presence constitutes a significant achievement at the studio. Here’s an exposition highlighting various facets of our dance achievements in the year 2022:

IAAASA EXAMINATIONS

Completing examinations, grades you towards teacher certification. From ages 3 to 18 we had 21 students that completed their examinations in 2022, we are proud to say that we earned a 100% pass rate. The highest percentage obtained was achieved by a senior dancer with an astonishing 97.33%.

Talent Africa

During 2022, 11 of our novice competitive dancers competed at Talent Africa Regionals. From solo to group performances, our dancers once again proved that dedication and passion leads to success. Our youngest dancer, aged only 3 years old, did a solo performance and obtained gold for her stunning routine. In total we achieved 2 x Gold and 15 x High silver medals.

On the Stage

What a challenging event! Fighting obstacles emotionally and physically from the second we stepped backstage. A pushed schedule, make-up failures and dancers experiencing stage fright and difficulties with stage placement and direction, our dancers and coach still managed to leave the audience and judges in awe.

Competing on a Novice level, 6 dancers showcased their dedication to Acro dance including 10 solo performances as well as 1 group. Our dancers showcased unique choreography in all dances achieving 14 silver medals as well as 1 gold.

IAAASA Championships

Integrated Artistic Acrobatic Association of South Africa hosts an annual championship during the September/October school holiday. With clubs from all over the country participating, it is guaranteed to be a spectacular show. During 2022 Inspired Acrobatic Academy competed as a solo studio for the first time. We participated with 10 novice dancers, all achieving their IAAASA colours with high percentages. With 20 routines, which includes, solo’s, duet’s, trio’s, groups and improvisation, we strived and claimed two overall placements in different age categories.
